Surprising and Amazing things happen in SL mostly because it is a condensed reflection of RL. Once upon a time I had a small little art gallery for a few friends. Because of it, I met Myth Guyot of
431art Gallery. We have enjoyed a friendship full of laughter.
In RL Myth is Torsten Grosch a RL artist in Germany. After a small time, he received a "stipend" and was able to work out his project:
BotanoAdopt.org. It has been difficult for Myth to keep up with SL and the RL projects.
One day Myth came to me and said he needed a dependable office space where he did not have to worry about landlord challenges. This was an easy thing for me to do. His gallery is here on Adelebsen Isle, as is his thought provoking maze! I will tell you about it another day.
Today is for a surprise!
Myth met a poet, author, and artist while working on the "BotanoAdopt" project and has convinced him to come explore Second Life, at least a little. So, Christoph Wilhelm Aigner (RL) is now Chris Faintree (SL).
I know you remember the first odd days of your SL. So, please send Chris Faintree a notecard to welcome him.
As a first introduction to Second Life, Myth has created an exhibit of Christoph Wilhelm Aigner's artistic works: AIGEN "The curious every day events in Italy" or "All strange things come from the ocean." (Visit:

Christoph worked with Polaroid film for 25 years. Sadly, Polaroid film is no longer produced. This collection of 41 Polaroid Collages (Pol-Colls) was created in the winter months of 1992/93 by Christoph in the Italian villages of Marina di Cecina and Rieti. Each photo serves as a backdrop for added layers of collage art in various media. And Christoph has made excellent use of that delicious space at the bottom of each Polaroid that is reserved for writing. Christoph's musings are an essential element of each collage.
From the news release: "In the years 2008/09 the Pol-Colls were produced as large pictures in the size 60x60 cm and printed in a single edition collection. The pictures are mounted onto Finart Baryt paper and 4mm thick aluminium. They were manufactured in Salzburg by Ulrich Ghezzi.
Christoph Wilhelm Aigner, born 1954, studied in Salzburg. He lives in Salzburg and Italy. He was sited by "World Literature Today" as one of the most distinguished poets. He has received high honors in literature, such as the German Else-Lasker-Schüler prize and the Austrian National prize."
